Attendance/Participation:
Students are responsible for signing in at each class meeting to be counted. Another way that attendance is monitored is by the dated sketchbook pages you use for note-taking/drawing each Friday.
Because of the low number of in-person meetings, each one counts a lot:
14-12 in-person class meetings = 100%
11 in-person class meetings = 90%
10 in-person class meetings = 80%
9 in-person class meetings = 70%
8 in-person class meetings = 60%
7 or fewer in-person class meetings is grounds for failure.
Students will be notified by the instructor if attendance becomes an issue, but it is the student's job to make up any missed work and attend weekly meetings on time and ready to focus. Students may email the instructor if they are having issues with attendance.
Course Materials Purchased by the Students:
- Physical sketchbook or digital tablet for writing, drawing, note-taking.
- If going analog with the sketchbook, choose whatever drawing materials you wish.
- UNCG Spartan Card allows free bus rides to downtown Greensboro Project Space
