Course Description

Analysis, research, and presentation of current topics and issues relevant to professional accountants. Prerequisite: ACC 519 or grade of C or higher in ACC 319.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Conduct independent research to develop an expertise in assigned areas.
  • Formulate opinions related to the issues being discussed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations in a clear, effective manner in front of a large group.
  • Think critically and ask questions when others present.
  • Work in a team.
  • Have experience in professional accounting writing.
