Course Description
Fundraising strategy, planning and tactics for arts organizations including grant research and writing, solicitation and donor retention tactics. Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in AAD 301.

Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Distinguishes between the different purposes of fundraising and development activities in an arts organization.
- Compares and contrasts the philanthropic interests of different types of donors (individual, corporate, foundations and government)
- Writes, revises and edits fundraising copy and grant narratives.
- Analyzes donation and donor engagement data and fundraising analytics.
- Interprets fundraising goals for an arts organization, then selects amongst fundraising tactics towards meeting those goals.
