Course Description
Students will learn about their own work style and best practices of leading and managing people and teams in the specific context of arts and creative organizations. Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in AAD 301 or permission of instructor.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Discover their own leadership style, challenges, and strengths
- Determine the necessary practices and processes required to lead a mission-driven arts organization
- Use marketing and branding strategies to promote action and impact
- Determine how to build an inclusive team that is motivated and inspired
- Develop sound financial and human resource management processes to maintain and build capacity
